On September 10, 2020, Jason Vaughn taught a seminar for Realtors at the Greater Louisville Association of Realtors (GLAR).  The course is designed to assist Realtors in representing their clients in new construction transactions.  The course covered many areas, including, but not limited to, the following:

• New construction contracts
• The use of the GLAR Residential Purchase Contract and the GLAR/BIA New Construction Addendum in partially completed homes
• The use of the GLAR Residential Purchase Contract in newly constructed completed homes
• The typical one-year home warranty
• The use of plans, specifications and allowances
• Building permits
• Home inspections
• The use of written change orders
• Builder budgets
• Seller affidavits
• Mechanic’s liens
